First, We Must Build Ourselves
We ALL love political freedom, right?
And if you are anything like me, I’m sure you find yourself getting emotionally passionate about topics related to it from time to time.
It is deeply engrained into who we are as Patriots!
I appreciate our founding and the uniqueness of our Republic. Our founders were inspired, disciplined, willing to act, understood truth, strong-willed, and courageous.
They were also flawed and imperfect – which I believe is important for us to realize, because even with those weaknesses, they were able to do remarkable things.
As I have studied these founders, there is something that really stands out to me.
It is this:
Our Founders were exceptionally strong individuals, who put a great deal of time into building themselves and their knowledge of truth - they took their idividual freedom seriously – and that is why they were able to further the cause of freedom like they did.
How does this relate to you?
As I recently started reading an autobiography of Thomas Jefferson, I am amazed at the attributes he possessed. It started years before he drafted the Declaration of Independence.
We desperately need strong individuals in our time to step forward and do remarkable things just as they did back at our founding.
Are you going to be one of them?
To do so, we have to be strong internally if we want to have any type of significant impact externally.
There are forces at work that are desperately trying to weaken America, because they know if freedom falls here, it will fall everywhere.
To accomplish this abolishment of freedom, they are strategically targeting our society. They have to destroy families and individuals. They have to make us dependent. They have to take away our strength and resolve. They must blur the truth.
How do we combat this?
Like our founders we must be: inspired, disciplined, willing to act, understand truth, strong-willed, and courageous.
We developed two of our shirts around these principles, Courage and Truth.
And we can do all of this despite our weakness and imperfection - just as our founder did - but we must be willing to build our internal strength, be willing to act, and turn to God (Appeal to Heaven).
In our of Freedom Elements blog post, we discuss the Seven Elements of Freedom that we must be building in our own lives if we want freedom.
The time is now, the world desperately needs strong indviduals!
God Bless,
